LO4 - Drafts
We decided not to discard this draft and the footage for it, because of how it was filmed poorly and on settings that wouldn't allow us to export it.
This footage is filmed and edited on the correct settings and also adds a layer of humanisation to our protagonist.

LO4 - Edit Decision
We used a large amount of cuts, because we thought adding transitions and other effects would detract from the verisimilitude of the trailer which is a common factor among warp film's product. Also by putting in a large amount of cuts we allowed ourselves to reveal as little about the film as possible, which means that audiences will be drawn to looking into it, so that they might find out more about it.
LO4 - Evidence of Editing
We mainly used adobe premier when editing our trailer, however one member of our group also created the logo for our trailer and company from scratch using photoshop
This editing session mostly comprised of me adding footage to my video and then start moving and placing it in tme to the music, thereby creating jump cuts.
This editing session mostly comprised of changing the colour in my images, so that it would fit the conventions of the genre of film that we were trying to create.
Here are two pieces of music we considered using in our trailer before deciding to create our own soundtrack
Here is the how we made our animation of the company logo
LO4 - Offline edit
This was our first draft for our trailer. all of the footage used in this has since been discarded as it wasn't seem as good enough for the final product. A lot of the footage had poor lighting and other technical problems (e.g. aperture, white balance). we also weren't happy with the composure of a lot of our shots and the actors we used weren't confident with the performances they gave. All of these elements combined make us opposed to using this as we believe it would lessen the quality of our final product.

LO3 - Production of music
We originally intended to use this song which we found on creative commons.
We wanted to use it because we thought the tone and genre fit the styles and conventions of our film trailer, also given the length of the piece we could have cropped and edited the track for our use.
In the end though, we opted to created our own original music using garageband. we did this using several sound clips, editing them alongside each other until it fitted the film in the way that we wanted
